2024 January Talent Camp

It's time to dust off the squash racquet and get back into the swing of things for the annual January School Holiday Camp! Squash WA State Team Coach Tim Cowell will be heading the camp at the Squash WA State Centre in Belmont. Players will receive personalised coaching over the two days and enjoy a variety of other squash-related activities.
2024 Talent Squad invitees will be selected from both state rankings and stand out performances at the camp. The Talent Squad program serves as an important part of the Junior Development Pathway, and selection into the 2024 WA Junior State Team.
Minimum requirements: SportyHQ ranking of 450 or above AND/OR attempting orange (preferably passed) and above AND/OR recommendation from your Club's Junior Coordinator.
Juniors must be willing and able to:
*Do simple drills and various agility/balance/coordination and fitness activities.
*Follow coach instruction and advice.
*Work with other players.
*Contribute towards a positive training environment.
Players must bring: racquet and eyewear (also available to borrow), sweat towel, water bottle, change of clothes, running shoes, skipping rope, snacks (OPTIONAL! Lunch and fruit will be provided; other snacks will need to be supplied by parents but are to be healthy (ie. no crisps, lollies, chocolate).
Registration costs $88 per junior, and closes on Friday 19 January 2024.
